ASHLEY MILLER

about me

Welcome! Thank you for stopping by my website. After you’ve taken a look around, I would love to meet you and learn more about your design needs.

Hello, my name is Ashley! I am a Michigan-based Graphic Designer and Artist with a background in healthcare. I received my bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience in 2016 and my Master of Public Health degree in Health Behavior and Health Education in 2018 both from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I also received my Master of Arts degree in Graphic Design in 2022 from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti. I am passionate about finding ways to connect healthcare and design and have spent the past several years doing design work for healthcare organizations. I enjoy being able to create graphics and design information in a way that is accessible for everyone and helps to make understanding health conditions, finding healthcare and support services, and navigating the healthcare system easier. Take a look at my work to see examples of my healthcare design work and many other projects unrelated to healthcare as well. While I have a passion for connecting healthcare and design, I also enjoy many other types of design work, including designing beer labels, wedding invitations, logo design, and much more. I often use a lot of detail, typography, contrast, and color to create mysterious, delicate, and off-beat imagery. I have a lot of drawing experience that helps me to create very detailed and illustrative imagery that make for unique and engaging designs.

Outside of my passions for design and healthcare, I love to hike with my camera and capture the beauty of nature. I also love to paint and draw and create cards, ornaments, and artwork for family and friends. You can view some of my photography and fine artwork on this site as well. I was born and raised in Michigan and enjoy spending summers on the great lakes. You can find me most weekends in the fall rooting on the Michigan Wolverines in football and in the winter in basketball. Time spent with family and friends is very important to me and creating work-life balance is a priority of mine. I am very organized and detail oriented and would love to discuss with you objectives and a timeline for your design needs. I look forward to hearing from you!
